Media DNN - Bali | Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Harfendi, S.I.P., M.Sc., together with acting The Governor of Bali, Bali Police Chief, Danrem 163/WSA, Kabinda Bali, Danlanal Denpasar, and Danlanud Ngurah Rai welcomed the arrival of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo, and his entourage at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency, Bali Province, on Tuesday (October 31, 2023).
Arriving on the Island of the Gods, the President of the Republic Indonesia carried out several working visit agendas, including holding a talk show with students and visiting several studios at SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati, visiting the Sukawati Moon Market, as well as directly handing over government rice reserve food aid to the beneficiary communities at the Batubulan Cultural Hall, Gianyar Regency.
After carrying out several working visit agendas in the Gianyar Regency area, the President of the Republic of Indonesia also opened and attended the 2023 World Hydropower Congress (WHC) at BNDCC, Nusa Dua, Badung Regency. Until the opening ceremony was finished, the President of the Republic of Indonesia went straight to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to continue his working visit to Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, Pangdam IX/Udayana, as Commander of the Integrated Joint Task Command (Pangkogasgabpad) for VVIP Security in the Bali Nusra region, has the responsibility to carry out direct physical security duties at close range and always ensure that the security of every movement of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the field is carried out according to the Protap.
It appears that Pangdam IX/Udayana is directly involved in the field to ensure that the VVIP security procedures implemented are running well, so that it is ensured that the working visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the Bali region is truly in a safe and conducive situation.
Apart from that, Kodam IX/Udayana together with the Bali Regional Police, the Bali Regional Government, and other supporting elements, have also previously carried out thorough preparations so that the agenda for the visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia and his entourage can run in an orderly, safe, and smooth manner.
