Initiating his directions, Pangdam said that his side deliberately organized the activities and gathered the unit leaders in the ranks of Kodam IX/Udayana, not to get bored with the leaders of the lower units, giving emphasis to the TNI neutrality At the 2024 General Election so that the soldiers of Kodam IX/Udayana truly understood and understood the meaning of neutrality.
According to Pangdam, by warming up the intensity of the current political temperature, it is very sensitive to the basic tasks of the TNI, especially the territorial apparatus that is always in contact with the people. Of course, this is to be dealt with wisely as well as by dominating the instructions of the upper command, despite the dynamics and conditions in the field that are sometimes different.
"Virally, the video of the decline of the socialization tool that occurred some time ago during the state visit can be a lesson so that the TNI apparatus in particular, who are on the field, can be more careful when performing tasks in the field. Because, entering this political year, there will be a lot of certain groups of society that are very sensitive, in line with the rising political situation," said Pangdam.
Nevertheless, Pangdam urged each unit commander not to hesitate in carrying out his duties and to do so strictly according to directions and orders. Because the neutrality of TNI is clear, it becomes the price of death as the main principle held firm by the entire Warrior Udayana.
"The most important thing is that we have no personal interests there. As long as we don't have private interests, then just do according to the rules, do not be afraid, and do not hesitate in acting too. Because TNI neutrality is a commitment that is already very clear and cannot be negotiated," said Pangdam.
Further, Pangdam explained the 11 TNI soldiers' prohibitions during the 2024 elections issued by Mabes TNI that should be considered by all TNI soldiers in order to maintain the conducibility, neutrality, and synergy with the entire component of the nation. Therefore, the Pangdam emphasized that each territorial unit hold a Declaration of Peace activity involving Forkompimda, KPU, Bawaslu, and Parpol Elections.
The Pangdam Briefing Hour activity was attended offline by Irdam IX/Udayana, Kapok Sahli Pangdam IX/Udayana, Asrendam IX/Udayana, assistants to Kasdam IX/Udayana, and Dansat/Kabalakdam IX/Udayana.
